3 months later....
Nicki's POV
I walked in to the club, I owned it but had barely been in it since I had started working on the music, the smell was the same but the vibe had lost its life. I decided on a grand reopening this week after all of my renovations had been done.
Lately I had got back in touch with TT and we reconnected with Sherika, and Lauren. They decided they would come back and work for me waitress during the nights sometimes. I was excited that everything seemed to be falling into the right place. I just had one thing missing from all of this...
Aubrey.. I couldn't bring myself to talk to him, I just didn't think it was a good idea, I just wasn't good enough yet.
I turned on the radio while the guys painted the walls a deep red, and just as I was thinking of Aubrey's cute freckles that gently painted his face and his smile whenever he saw me, his voice hit the radio. I bit my lip loving it whenever he sang, but as I listened more and more to this song .. My heart pounded faster by the minute. The description the words it all sounded like he was talking about me. I go to change the station .. my phone rings.
"Hello" I said
"Nicki girl have you heard the song on the radio, its about you!" TT said
"Yass girl its weird I don't even wanna hear it anymore" I said sighing
"You need to talk to him" TT said popping her gum
"Talk to him about what ? That song is probably just his way of letting go of me" I said getting irritated
"Onika shut up girl you know that boy still loves you like he did in high school" TT said

"Uhhh after my grand opening I will" I said trying to ease my way out of this conversation

I loosened the grip on my ponytail and finished signing off on the papers for my club reopening. The new name Recovery Club, I would have the best drinks, artist, dancers, food, and music. I couldn't be more happy then to finally focus on something that was mine. I smiled finally feeling some type of peace come my way.
Drake's POV
As I turned the wheel in my Jeep I pulled up to my apartment, the new song had taken off within the top 5 on apple music. I wanted to celebrate after working on my new album. I walked into my empty home opening up a bottle of wine. My thoughts pondered as I walked out onto the balcony to take a puff of my blunt I had been saving for this very moment. I was the man on top of the world almost had everything I wanted ... But yet I didn't have her.
I was too scared to be the first to call, maybe this was the end. maybe my song brought my closure. I picked up my phone to call TT but before I could push on her name Ryan popped up trying to facetime. I answered
"BRUH... " Ryan said sounding faded already its 2 in the fucking afternoon
"What Ry you already faded its only 2" I said rolling my eyes
"You know the club we booked for next Friday??" Ry said with a mischievous smile on his face
"Yeah Recovery Club?" I said beginning to be intrigued
"YOUR GIRL OWNS AND RUNS THE SHIT NIGGA" Ryan said busting out laughing
My eyes widened "No fucking way" I murmured
"You know whats funnier?" Ry asked
"What?" I said sighing
"She don't even know its us booking it! It's under Chubb's government name" Ryan said falling over on the couch
"Shit Shit... I got to talk to her, whens the reopening again ?" I asked getting nervous
"Saturday Nigga .. You in some deep shit.. But I got to go bye" Ryan said ending the face time call
I couldn't believe out boys night out was going to be awkward because Onika owned the club.. we had wanted the dancers and all. I ashed the blunt took some Advil and took my ass to bed I needed to sleep off the rest of the day away.

Nicki's POV
I looked at the time it was 10 pm by the time I got home. I was exhausted I needed a warm bath and my bed. I was to tired to make myself food so I opened up a bag of cranberries and almonds, started to munch away as I got the bath running adding a vanilla and lavender bubble bath soap, and dropping in a cute pink bath bomb. I put away my some what of a dinner for the night and stripped down and gently slide into the tub. Put on Pandora and closed my eyes to the soothing voice of Avant.

Opening her eyes full of tears Nicki missed him more than ever, but she couldn't be weak could she?

1 Week Later.. Friday
"Alright so who is this client we have who rented out the club ?" Nicki asked exhausted the club re-opening had taken off without a hitch and having to put new employees in check and make sure things were being handled properly had taken a lot out of her.
"Uhhh it just says a name but I guess it's with some company called OVO records" Lauren the new waitress said
"You guys don't know how to take down fucking names ? Nicki said snatching the clip board away
All of the employees sat there quietly "Ok well get the fuck to work, I have to go up to my office, someone knock when they arrive" Nicki said storming off to her office
Once she was there she opened up a bottle of henny and began to slip slowly from the bottle, it all went down so smoothly taking away the stress she was just guzzling away until she realized her tummy had a completely warm sensation and her eyes began to feel warm. She sat back in her chair letting the buzz that was soon to turn into a tipsy state take over.

I did as told, and 15 minutes later there was a knock at the door. I answer it grab the food sit in the chair across from her desk , pray over the food then we eat. I watched her eat like she hadn't eaten in days then wash some down with water and other gulps with the bottle of pink chardonnay she had.
"Alright so now time to talk you wanna sit on the couch ?" I asked
"Yeah that's fine" She said looking down
We settle in on the couch and took a deep breath grabbed her hand kissed it gently tasting her sweet skin
